Jeff Stephens is a Senior Clinical Lecturer in Diabetes based at the Institute of Life Sciences at Swansea University and a consultant physician at Morriston Hospital, Swansea part of the ABM University Trust. His current research interests include prediabetes, obesity, type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease. He has a particular interest in the genetic determinants of oxidative stress and the role these play in cardiovascular disease. He is widely published and currently holds several research grants for diabetes research. He has extensive teaching experience at medical undergraduate and postgraduate level.
