Glenn Telling is a Professor at the University of Kentucky. He received his undergraduate training at Oxford University and his PhD from Carnegie Mellon University. His major research interests are to determine the molecular events underlying prion propagation, species barriers and strains using molecular biological, biochemical, transgenic and cell biological approaches. A significant portion of his current effort is focused on perhaps the most enigmatic prion disorder, chronic wasting disease (CWD) of deer and elk.
