Jade Garratt is Co-Founder and Director of Psych Safety, where she helps organisations build healthier, happier and higher-performing workplaces by embedding psychological safety into everyday practice. Jade began her career as a teacher and went on to support organisations in strengthening their learning and people development. At the University of Nottingham, she held a senior educational leadership role, and in 2024 she was recognised as a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA).
She holds a Physics degree from Oxford University and a Master’s in Educational Leadership, and she is currently completing a PhD at the University of Nottingham. Her doctoral research, viewed through a social justice lens, explores how students’ educational backgrounds shape their university experiences.
Alongside her academic work, Jade is most energised by practical impact: helping leaders and teams translate research and theory into real changes in how they collaborate, learn and perform.
