Christopher M. Thomas was one of the founders of the International Society for Plasmid Biology and has been involved in organizing the biennial plasmid conferences since 1987. Chris still works on plasmids of Pseudomonas species but is also interested in antibiotic biosynthesis in Pseudomonas species.
