John Isaacs is Professor of Clinical Rheumatology and Director of Therapeutics at Newcastle University. He is an internationally recognized figure in the field of biological therapies in rheumatology. He conducted the first trials of humanized antibody therapy for rheumatoid arthritis and has subsequently designed pioneering studies.
