Biography

Professor Milé Terziovski is a distinguished academic and accomplished researcher. Milé has held positions as the Dean of the Curtin Graduate School of Business and a continuing Professorial Chair in Innovation. He was also Head of School of the International Graduate School of Business at the University of South Australia.

His academic journey includes roles at the University of Melbourne as a Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor, where he was the Executive Director of the Centre for Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

He has also worked as Mechanical Engineer with Rio Tinto for 17 years, where he held positions as Principal Engineer and Project Leader.

Professor Terziovski has been named in Stanford University’s Top 2% of Most-Cited Scientists in the field of Business Management for both career-long citation impact rankings and citation impact rankings during the single calendar year 2022.

He has published 60 peer-reviewed articles in leading international journals. His research spans topics related to innovation, entrepreneurship, and quality management.

Milé has contributed to prestigious journals such as the Journal of Operations Management (JOM) and the Strategic Management Journal (SMJ), and authored 4 books, including one on Building Innovation Capability in Organizations.

Professor Terziovski has received over $3 million in competitive research grant funding, including an ARC Discovery and two ARC Linkage Grants, Technology Diffusion Grant, and two International Science Linkage Grants.

His accolades include Best Paper Awards from the US Academy of Management and nominations for international best paper awards.
