Fabrizio Chiti received his degree in biological science at the University of Florence in Italy and his PhD in chemistry at the University of Oxford. Fabrizio Chiti is currently Associate Professor of Biochemistry at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Florence. The research of his lab mainly focuses on elucidating the mechanisms by which soluble proteins assemble into ordered aggregates and by which the resulting aggregates cause cell dysfunction.
