Eileen Uribe Querol graduated from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) with a B.S degree in Basic Biomedical Research. She also holds a M.S and Ph.D. degrees in Neurosciences. She has vast teaching experience both at graduate and undergraduate levels at several colleges in Mexico City. She has published 29 original articles and 14 book chapters. Nowadays, she is the head of the Developmental Biology Laboratory, at the School of Dentistry. Her research interests include periodontal tissue homeostasis and the role of neutrophils in inflammatory diseases.
