Mark Sanders is Professor of International Economics at Maastricht University, the Netherlands. His research interests include innovation economics, entrepreneurship and economic development, with a special focus on role of entrepreneurial activity and finance in the introduction of renewable energy technologies. Mark has published on a wide range of topics in... read morepeer reviewed academic journals, teaches courses on the economics of resilience and sustainability, on globalization and macroeconomics at the bachelor and master levels. Since Mark joined Sustainable Finance Lab in 2011 he has developed a keen interest in the economics of monetary and financial reform and entrepreneurial (green) finance and in 2015-2018 he coordinated the Horizon 2020 project Financial and Institutional reforms for the Entrepreneurial Society (www.projectfires.eu).
