Dr. Vineet Kumar Rai attended Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow. He obtained a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutics in 2011 before earning his Ph.D. at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, in 2018. His primary areas of research interest are drug delivery, formulation, and development of conventional and novel drug delivery systems-based dosage forms.

He is the principal investigator of a government project sanctioned by the Innovation and Translation Division, ICMR, New Delhi. He has authored more than forty-five international publications and book chapters. He has received some prestigious awards like the “best innovative idea award in healthcare and wellness category by Punjab Government under Start-up India Punjab Yatra program, Best Oral Presentation Award in JIGYASA 2015, and Annual Day Award for Outstanding Research Publication by CSIR-CIMAP, Lucknow in 2014. He is an approved trainer for the qualification pack of validation Supervisors by LSSSDC under the Skill India program of the Government of India.
