He... read moreworked many years each at the Basel Institute for Immunology in Switzerland, at the Institute for Animal Health and at the University of Cambridge, both in the United Kingdom. He now is a professor in the Institute for Immunology and Infection Biology at the University of Edinburgh, with his groups in Cambridge and Edinburgh examining subjects around the MHC primarily in chickens, but also passerine birds, rabbits, Tasmanian devils and bats.
