Biography
Lutz Göcke is a German economist and professor for general business administration, specializing in digital management, at the Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences.
in 2017, Göcke founded the consulting company SWAN Ventures in Berlin. In January 2018 he was called back to his alma mater, the Nordhausen University. In this context, he deals, among other things, with digital transformation and focuses on digital business, entrepreneurship, and management of small and medium-sized companies. For the 2020/21 winter semester, Göcke launched the new Bachelor's degree in Digital Product Management, which he is responsible for. The aim is to impart knowledge as well as an entrepreneurial mindset in order to stimulate spin-offs.
In 2019, Göcke was part of the InnoAlliance Germany China Innovation Competition, a platform of the Federal Association of German Startups eV to connect German startups, in particular from the fields of artificial intelligence, environmental protection, green innovations and biotechnology, with Chinese investors. In the same year, the Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences was awarded funding by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research to set up a university incubator for startups on Göcke’s initiative.
In 2020, Göcke was awarded the Norbert Szyperski Technology and Innovation Management Research Award 2020 together with Matthias Menter, Christopher Zeeb and Thomas Clauß.
