Professor Ruth Shalgi, Ph.D., is a professor (Emerita) in the Department of Cell and Developmental Biology at the Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University. She has authored over 160 peer-reviewed publications, supervised over 50 graduate students and was an incumbent of the Gabriel Pinkas Chair for the Prevention and Diagnosis of Congenital Anomalies (2006-2016).
