Paula Traktman is the Walter Schroeder Professor and Chairman of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She received her PhD in biology from MIT in 1981. Her research focuses on kinases, phosphatases and polymerases, vaccinia virus and its interaction with the host.
