Research in Dr. Clarke’s laboratory is centred on the growth and development of the mammalian oocyte, and in particular on mechanisms by which the germ cell communicates with the somatic cells of the ovarian follicle that provide it with metabolic support and regulatory signals. Dr. Clarke is currently co-Editor-in-Chief of Biology of Reproduction.
