Keith Pond is a former Manager with Midland Bank plc and Senior Lecturer in Banking and Economics at Loughborough University. He has accumulated 40 years of experience in Business and Banking education, Higher Education management and teaching innovation. In 2017 he stepped down as inaugural Associate Dean Teaching (2010-2017) at the School of Business and Economics at Loughborough University and now focus on online education as Online Course Certification System (EOCCS) Director for EFMD Global Network.

Dr. Pond is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (now LIBF) and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Research interests include personal and corporate insolvency, as well as SME lending by banks and student engagement with group work and technology in learning. In 2007 he received a PhD based on personal insolvency research.
