Stefan Heusinkveld is an Associate Professor at the VU University Amsterdam, the Netherlands. His research focuses on the production and consumption of management ideas and, in particular, the role of management consultants, management gurus, and mass media. As member of the guest-editorial team he has been involved in a Special Issue in Management Learning and International Journal of Management Reviews. His book on knowledge-based innovation in management consulting was published by Routledge in 2014. Stefan has been actively involved in organising various EGOS streams and is currently coordinator of the EGOS Standing Working Group on “Management, occupations and professions in social context”
