Dr. Gopinathan K. Menon is is a Fellow of the California Academy of Sciences, and in 2011 was Vice President of the Asia-Pacific society for Skin Barrier research. During his time at Avon Products he twice won the Chairman’s award for excellence in research leading to breakthrough products. His undergraduate studies were in Zoology, before completing a PhD in Biology. He has given several invited presentations at international scientific forums, and has twice chaired the Gordon Research conferences on the Skin Barrier. He has over 100 publications in peer-reviewed journals and 9 US patents.
