Biography

William Fenical is Distinguished Professor of Oceanography and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of California, San Diego. Prof. Fenical is also director of the Center for Marine Biotechnology and Biomedicine at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography where he heads a research program to develop the medical resources of the oceans.
