Dr. Sakis Mantalaris joined the department in 2000 as a Lecturer. His research interests are in the exciting areas of tissue engineering and mammalian cell biotechnology, with particular emphasis on using bio-reactors to produce functional human bone marrow and optimal growth of mammalian cell culture systems.
