Brian Tomlin is an Associate Professor of Business Administration at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth where he teaches the core operations management class and an operations strategy elective. Professor Tomlin's research explores operations strategy and supply chain management, with an emphasis on supply chain design and risk management.... read moreHe has published extensively in the leading research journals and in managerial outlets including the Financial Times and Supply Chain Management Review. He is an associate editor of many leading journals. Professor Tomlin received his PhD from MIT's Sloan School of Management, where he was awarded the Zannetos PhD Dissertation Prize. His undergraduate degree is from University College Dublin in Ireland. Before joining the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, he was on the faculty of the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina. He worked full time for a number of companies, including General Electric and the Boston Consulting Group, prior to his academic career.
