She is very interested in ethnographic approaches and has conducted extensive, internationally comparative audio and video ethnographic studies in a range of business contexts. Her work has appeared in a number of leading journals including Academy of Management Journal and Organization Science and in 2005, she published the first book on strategy-as-practice, Strategy as Practice: An Activity-Based Approach (Sage).
