Dr. Helen Liddy retired in July 2010 from NATA, having joined in August 1985. NATA is the Australian authority for accreditation of laboratories and related services, and is also the Australian GLP compliance monitoring authority. She was responsible for setting up NATA's GLP compliance monitoring. She has led numerous inspections of GLP facilities in Australia. She has participated in the evaluation of GLP compliance monitoring programs in Japan (team leader), USA (USEPA), South Africa (team leader) and India (team leader).
