Michael Kraten has served as the co-founder and president of the strategic management consulting firm EMC since 1996. Dr. Kraten is also a member of the accounting faculty at Providence College in the United States. He is a frequent lecturer in the continuing education program of the Maryland Association of CPAs, and he has presented lectures and other contact at a wide array of organizations, including the American Accounting Association, Catholic Charities, Harvard Law School, the Iraqi Oil Ministry, Johns Hopkins University, and Petro Vietnam. His book "Business Planning and Entrepreneurship: An Accounting Approach" has been published by Business Expert Press. Dr. Kraten has earned a PhD from the University of Connecticut, a MPPM from Yale University, and a BBA from Baruch College (CUNY).
