Shoshana Altschuller is Assistant Professor of Information Systems in the Hagan School of Business at Iona College where she teaches courses in Management Information Systems, E-Commerce Strategy, and Virtual Teams Management. A member of the international community on Information Systems for Crisis Response and Management, Dr. Altschuller has published numerous articles concerning computer-mediated communication during disaster response and the development of trust within virtual response teams. She also has experience in systems development in the financial industry. She has a PhD in Information Systems from the City University of New York.
