Andrew Morris is a Research Fellow in Statistical Genetics at the Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics, University of Oxford. Previously, he has worked in the Department of Applied Statistics at the University of Reading, in collaboration with David Balding and John Whittaker on methods for fine-scale linkage disequilibrium. The... read morefocus of his current research is the application of Markov chain Monte Carlo methods in the analysis of genome-wide and fine-scale disease gene mapping studies. He is also part of the Analysis Group of the International Human Haplotype Map project. He is co-developer of the COLDMAP software for fine-scale linkage disequilibrium mapping.
