Leyland Pitt is Professor of Marketing, and the Dennis F. Culver EMBA Alumni Chair of Business, Segal Graduate School of Business, Simon Fraser University, Canada. His research interests are in the broad area of the technology-marketing interface. His work has been published in such journals as California Management Review, Sloan Management Review, Information Systems Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science and MIS Quarterly (which he also served as Associate Editor). His teaching awards include the Outstanding Marketing Teacher (2002) award of the Academy of Marketing Science; the TD Canada Trust Distinguished Teaching Award (2006); and the Pearson Prentice-Hall Solomon-Marshall-Stuart Award for Innovative Excellence in Marketing Education of the American Marketing Association (2010).
