After postdoctoral training in cancer genetics and epigentics at the Johns Hopkins Oncology Center in Baltimore, MD, she joined the faculty at Emory University in 1996 where she is currently a tenured professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology and the Leader of the Cancer Genetics and Epigenetics Program in Emory's Winship Cancer Institute.
