Anna Woollams is a lecturer in the School of Psychological Sciences at the University of Manchester. She moved to the... read moreUK in 2004 to take up a postdoctoral research position within the MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit in Cambridge and then moved to the University of Manchester in 2007. Her research focuses on all aspects of normal and disordered language processing, with the primary focus on normal reading and the way in which this ability can be disrupted subsequent to brain damage, in particular by illnesses such as semantic dementia and progressive non fluent aphasia.
