Mr. Mark Manning Senior Manager, Payments System Stability, Reserve Bank of Australia

Mark Manning is a Senior Advisor in the Prudential Policy Division of the Bank of England. Mark began his career in central banking in 2002, joining the Bank of England after several years as a fund manager in the City of London. During his time at the Bank, Mark has worked primarily on payments and other infrastructural issues, participating in several international working groups and publishing a number of articles and research papers. He has also co-edited a book entitled The Economics of Large-value Payments and Settlement, which was published by OUP in 2009. Mark holds Masters degrees in Economics and Finance, from University College London and the London Business School, respectively.
