Roy Grinker is Professor of Anthropology, the Human Sciences, and International Affairs at George Washington University. He is the world's leading authority presenting on autism for lay audiences, combining a mastery of the latest medical knowledge and a deep personal understanding of social and cultural context in accessible, non-technical language. He wrote the award-winning book Unstrange Minds: Remapping the World of Autism after his daughter was diagnosed with autism.
