ARAs role was to pursue the profits made from crime by criminals and terrorists and during his time there the Agency investigated over 250 cases and froze assets valued at over £200m in cases ranging from major frauds through drug dealing and smuggling to terrorist related activity. Alan is now an independent Security Consultant who works in the UK and internationally. He has recently been involved in a number of EU programmes working with senior police, prosecutors and judiciary in accession states, and advising on asset tracing, training and related issues. He also advises a range of private sector client on counter-terrorism and related matters and litigation management.
