Abstract
Using data obtained from the literature, this study conducts statistical analysis to improve understanding regarding the relationship between firms and their employees. The results indicate that employee turnover is lower among companies that combine strong, effective leadership with distinct organisational culture and behaviour.

Author's Biography
Mitali Dohroo is a research scholar at Amity Business School, where her research focuses on human resources. Outside of academia, she has more than eight years’ experience working as a human resources professional.
Taranjeet Duggal is a Professor at Amity Business School. She has more than 25 years of teaching experience. Her major areas of research include organisation development, human resource practices, organisation culture and organisation citizenship. Her research has been published in various books and journals, and she serves on the advisory boards of a number of conferences.
Amirul Hasan Ansari is a professor of psychology at Aligarh Muslim University, where he lectures in organisational behaviour, leadership, interpersonal and group dynamics, counselling skills and business research methodology. His research interests include emotional intelligence, knowledge management and leadership. His work has been published in various professional journals, and presented at a number of international seminars and conferences. He received his PhD in psychology in organisational behaviour from Aligarh Muslim University.
