Abstract
This paper will recap and review some of the common pain points experienced by different industry verticals during the COVID-19 pandemic. The paper argues that risk assessment exercises provide valuable data that organisations can leverage in their business impact analyses to better identify the gaps and areas that need attention.

Author's Biography
Andy Witts is the Senior Director of Alliances at Infinite Blue, where he works with international partners to build and develop business continuity programmes. Over the last 17 years he has gained experience in global programme administration, product management, risk management and software training, and has deployed business continuity and disaster recovery programmes on numerous platforms around the world.
