Abstract
This paper examines how digital asset management at UEFA has grown from a traditional library and archive system to an integral part of the organisation’s ecosystem. It describes the various challenges faced and discusses the lessons learned.

Author's Biography
Paul Murphy is the Digital Image Expert at UEFA, where he is responsible for the digital asset management system for managing photography and graphics. Prior to arriving at UEFA, he managed a picture desk at Sportsfile, the leading sports photo agency in Ireland.
