Abstract

Reflecting on the changing landscape of urban economic development policy in England, and the Coventry story in particular, this paper charts the emergence of new policy themes and the demise and abandonment of others. Written from a practitioner perspective, the paper focuses on chartering the shifting context within which sub-national economic development policy is now being practised.
