Abstract
This paper analyses the response to the European Securities and Markets Authority’s (ESMA) Consultation Paper on the draft technical standards on disclosure requirements, operational standards and access conditions under the Securitisation Regulation (ESMA33-128-107).1 The Consultation Paper was published on 19th December, 2017, on ESMA’s homepage.

Author's Biography
Achim Sprengard is a certified public accountant and one of GAR managing partners. GAR is an audit company specialised in regulatory reporting and audit and compliance services for banks and financial institutions. GAR is a member of the HLB international network, a worldwide network of independent accounting firms and business advisers.
Andreas Janzen is a manager at GAR and is responsible for regulatory reporting and ESMA regulatory topics, such as SFTR, EMIR, MiFID II/MiFIR. Before joining GAR, Andreas worked for four years for a securities trading bank in Munich focusing mainly on the institution’s securities-related requirements. In 2013, Andreas joined GAR, where he started focusing on CRR regulatory reporting–related projects. Later on, in 2015, Andreas expanded the scope of its expertise on ESMA-related regulations.
