Merete Nordentoft, Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Copenhagen and Director of Research at CORE, has significantly influenced mental health care. As President of the Danish Psychiatric Society (2021–2025), she has been a strong advocate for enhanced psychiatric funding, particularly through Denmark’s 10-Year Plan for Psychiatry.
