Biography

Dr. Sung-Hong Park received his BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, South Korea, and earned his PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh in 2009. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Bio and Brain Engineering at KAIST. His research focuses on the development of advanced MRI techniques, including pulse sequence design, image reconstruction, and machine learning–based acceleration and artifact suppression, with applications to neurofluid dynamics, brain vasculature, perfusion, and molecular exchange imaging in neurological and clinical studies.
