Biography

Alessio Volpicella is Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Pavia and a member of the Centre for International Macroeconomic Studies (CIMS) at the University of Surrey. He received his PhD in Economics from Queen Mary University of London in 2020. He subsequently worked at Surrey as Lecturer and... read moreSenior Lecturer. He has collaborated with the European Central Bank, the Bank of England, BNP Paribas, the Department for Business and Trade, and LSE Consulting. His research focuses on time-series econometrics, macroeconometrics, and Bayesian econometrics, with publications including the Journal of Econometrics, Journal of Business & Economic Statistics and Quantitative Economics.
