Her research focuses on translational neuro-oncology, including novel therapeutic targeting of ion channels and improving outcomes for patients with primary and metastatic brain tumors, and she has been principal investigator on more than 30 federal and foundation grants with over 100 peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Sengupta earned her PhD and medical degrees from the University of Cambridge, completed neurology and neuro-oncology training at leading U.S. centers, and holds additional training in integrative medicine, executive healthcare leadership, and AI in healthcare.
