Biography

Dr. Rizwan Romee, MD is a medical oncologist and translational physician-scientist based at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, USA. Dr. Romee’s research focuses on genetically manipulating human natural killer (NK) cells to enhance their anti-tumor activity and modulate the tumor microenvironment, including pioneering work on memory-like NK cells and their application in clinical trials for hematologic malignancies and other cancers. He leads the Romee Lab for NK cell gene manipulation and therapy and collaborates on developing innovative immunotherapy approaches.
