Dr. Yujiang Fang joined the Department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Pathology at Des Moines University in December 2013. He earned both his M.D. and Ph.D. in China and worked for many years as an attending urologist. Dr. Fang is currently an experienced academic pathologist and associate professor at Des Moines University, as well as an adjunct professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Missouri and at the Ellis Fischel Cancer Center. He serves on the editorial boards of several established journals and has extensive experience in clinical practice, teaching, and research. His research interests include cancer immunotherapy, the effects of radiosensitizers on cancer, and the mechanisms underlying the resolution of inflammation and fibrosis.
