Fabio Del Ben attended the University of Udine, Italy and obtained a Medical Degree in 2011 before going to earn his PhD at the University of Trieste, Italy, at the Graduate School of Nanotechnology in 2016. He now practices as a Clinical Pathologist in the Department of Translational Research and Advanced Tumor Diagnostics at the CRO Aviano IRCCS National Cancer Institute. He is particularly interested and possesses expertise in innovation, technology transfer, liquid biopsy and artificial intelligence in the medical laboratory. He is co-inventor of two patents in diagnostics and co-founder of three start-up companies.
