Gary Dunny teaches and carries out research on cell-cell signaling, gene regulation, and gene transfer in Enterococcus faecalis. He received BS and PhD degrees at the University of Michigan, and held postdoctoral and faculty positions at Cornell University before coming to the University of Minnesota in 1989.
