Prof. Leemor Joshua-Tor Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, USA

Prof. Joshua-Tor received her BSc in Chemistry (magna cum laude) from Tel-Aviv University and her PhD from the Weizmann Institute with Prof. Joel Sussman studying aberrant structures of DNA. She now works at the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and was promoted to Associate Professor in 1999 and then to Professor in 2005. Her research has remained focused on nucleic acid regulatory processes, through work on RNAi, DNA replication in Papilloma Virus and transcriptional regulation.
