Frank Dudbridge trained in mathematics at Imperial College London and moved into statistical genetics through postdoctoral appointments at the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge. His interests are in statistical methods in genetic epidemiology, in which he has contributed to the analysis of family-based association studies, genomewide association scans and Mendelian randomisation designs. His applied interests are in cardiovascular, cancer, psychiatric and endocrinological genetics.
