He was a Professor of Medicine on the full-time faculty of the Boston University School of Medicine from 1999-2003, was... read moreat the Medical University of South Carolina from 2003 to 2006 and recently joined the faculty of Emory University School of Medicine, where he is Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology, with a focus on research in epidemiology and genomic factors. He has a long-term interest in metabolic and cardiovascular population research. He is an author or co-author of more than 400 scientific articles and four books.
