Sally Davenport is an emeritus professor of Management at Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington’s Business School, and a technology and innovation strategy expert. For 8 years, Sally has been Director of “Science for Technological Innovation” (www.sftichallenge.govt.nz), a $106m mission-led National Science Challenge. This experience has led to an intense interest into how such mission-led approaches can create lasting impact through relationship building and behavioural change. She was also a Commissioner with the New Zealand Productivity Commission for 9 years and was awarded a MNZM (The New Zealand Order of Merit) in 2017 for services to science.
