Biography

Rochelle is a published author, global speaker, HR consultant, and senior lecturer, and the Founder and CEO of Crowd Potential Consulting Inc. She holds a Masters (with Distinction) in Human Resource Management, and a PhD in International Human Resource Management. Rochelle’s passion lies in applying good people management practices within... read morethe growing digital economy and she has travelled across the globe, including Indonesia and Thailand, to explore the world’s top remote-working hotspots, co-working spaces and interview globally dispersed talent. She specialises in Open HR™ (previously GigHR), a term she coined to describe the discipline of using HRM to help companies enhance their working relationships with contract or ‘open talent’ including digital nomads and other offsite stakeholders, whose physical contact with organisations is limited or non-existent. Rochelle has lectured in several UK universities, including most recently The University of the West of England (UWE Bristol), where she led modules on Performance Management, and Global People Management.

In the UK, she was nationally commended for her role with the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) as an employability mentor. She has worked and given keynotes across the globe for many reputable companies including The Financial Times, BambooHR, Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD), The Central Bank of Barbados, Hays Marketing Group, and Banco Santander. She has been featured in several well-recognised publications including Forbes, HR Online, and Personnel Today and is also a regular guest on several podcasts. Rochelle is also a member of Open Assembly, Center for the Transformation of Work, and Keynote, a global directory of female thought leaders. A few of her most recent appointments include a non-executive board member at the London Churchill College, the Head of Research for the Association for the Future of Work, and Future of Work Advisor with Future Catapult within the Barbados Prime Minister’s Office.
